The Galion Police Department consists of 25 staff members who protect and serve the citizens. In addition to our lieutenants and patrol officers, there are three detectives who work closely with the METRICH Drug Enforcement Unit, a multi-jurisdictional task force.

The department partners with Galion City Schools to implement a School Resource Officer each year.
