Recreation Funding

There are two primary sources for funding of parks and recreation in Galion.

Recreation Levy

In 1995, Galion voters approved a .11-mil levy for "recreation and land acquisition." It replaced an expiring levy that had been used to rehabilitate and expand the community swimming pool.
